FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX) and theworld’s largest express transportation company, has awarded itssignature FedEx Access Award to Estrela, a student run company fromKirkwall Grammar School in Orkney.
The Company of the Year Competition is a Young Enterpriseprogramme. Young Enterprise is a national charity dedicated towardsentrepreneurship and helping young people foster key employabilityskills and prepare them for the world of work. This year, more than16,500 students across the UK took part in the programme, creatingmore than 1,400 student companies. The best 14 teams were chosen totake part in the National competition in London on July 6, 2018.The winner of the competition will compete in the European final onJuly 18, in Belgrade, Serbia.
